Announcing event Lets cook for DAD


The month of June brings us Fathers day, so the whole of June I am dedicating the month of June to our Dads. I am inviting all bloggers to create any vegetarian dishes (eggs allowed) that they want to cook for their dads and please link up here.

  1. I find it a little odd that you specify eggs allowed in vegetarian dishes. I presume from that, many people believe eggs aren't part of a vegetarian diet?!

  2. Vikki, there are different types of vegetarians, I am a vegetarian I do not eat meat or fish but I do eat egg mainly in baking.. Below is a definition of different types of vegetarians I hope it answers your questions.
    There are different degrees of vegetarianism . The four most common forms of vegetarianism are:

    Lacto-ovo-vegetarian. Eats both dairy products and eggs. This is the most common type of vegetarian diet.
    Lacto-vegetarian. Eats dairy products but not eggs.
    Ovo-vegetarian. Eats eggs but not dairy products.
    Vegan. Does not eat dairy products, eggs, or any other animal product.
